Internship: Mechanical Design for Solenoid Valve Development (m/f/d)

Join our Solenoid Valve Design team in Munich and contribute to the development of high-performance solenoid valves for satellites, spacecraft, and launch vehicles. You will be involved in the entire development cycle, from concept to testing. Your tasks include:
  • Designing parts, assemblies, and creating technical drawings
  • Performing simulations (FEM, CFD)
  • Supporting hardware activities such as inspection, assembly, and testing of newly developed products
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering / science discipline (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
  • Motivated, pragmatic and self-organized personality
  • Eager to take responsibility
  • Knowledge in valve design, pressure regulators, sealing systems appreciated
  • Hands-on experience with CAD and FEM tools (Catia), CFD knowledge is a plus
  • Strong knowledge in mechanics, mechanical engineering and fluid mechanics
  • Hands-on mindset for hardware related activities (inspection, assembly, testing)
  • Fluency in English, German and further languages are appreciated
  • Internship can be mandatory or voluntary
