Internship - Reactor Core Design and Neutronic Safety Studies Engineer
You will contribute to introducing machine-learning models into a statistical method for determining uncertainty from loss of representativeness in EPR core instrumentation. You will work with simulated normal and accidental core configurations, neutron-calculation results, and models that generate relevant new reactor-core configurations.
Responsibilities
- Introduce machine-learning models into a statistical uncertainty method
- Model reactor-core configurations in normal and accidental conditions
- Use neutron-calculation results to generate relevant new core configurations
Requirements
- Be in the final year of an engineering school or equivalent university program specializing in nuclear engineering
- Have initial experience with calculation codes and numerical simulation
- Know Linux and Python
- Have French proficiency
