INTERPRETER

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Interpreter to join our dynamic team in Plano, United States. As an integral part of our organization, you will facilitate effective communication between parties who speak different languages, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation in various business settings.

• Provide high-quality simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services for conferences, meetings, and business negotiations in Plano and surrounding areas
• Accurately convey spoken messages between English and another language, maintaining the speaker's tone and intent
• Prepare thoroughly for assignments by researching subject matter, terminology, and cultural nuances specific to the business environment in Plano
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during interpretation sessions
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure smooth communication flow and customer satisfaction
• Adapt quickly to different accents, dialects, and speaking styles within the multicultural context of Plano
• Stay updated on current events, business practices, and cultural developments relevant to interpretation in the United States

• Native or near-native proficiency in English and at least one other language; fluency in additional languages is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field
• Professional certification in interpretation (preferred)
• Proven experience as an interpreter in various business settings, particularly in the United States
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the second language
• Strong listening and comprehension abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• In-depth cultural sensitivity and awareness of American customs and business practices
• Advanced proficiency in both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation techniques
