Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are looking for a per diem IR Technologist to assist the department.

• Greets patients, prepares patients for x-ray by positioning with the least discomfort, provides patient education regarding xray,
• Obtains clear images as directed by the provider using appropriate safety precautions and processes images in PACs system
• Assists patient with dressing as needed, escorts patient to and from exam room
• Tracks and maintains IR xray supplies, reports needs to Clinical Manager
• Performs routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment, ensure that equipment is in compliance with regulations, arranges for repairs and makes back-up arrangements as needed
• Maintains and adheres to written safety polices for use of radiologic equipment in compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards
• Follows HIPAA and documentation compliance standards
• Monitors patient schedule and work queues throughout the day to ensure provider is prepped for clinical needs.
• Completes other tasks as directed by management.
• Attends staff meetings and continuing education
