Inventory Analyst (Conversion)

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Responsible to keep and maintain inventory accuracy at 95%, this position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as they will lead a staff of indirect employees
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Insure every physical move is supported with the proper documentation and system is updated.
2. Achieve a minimum of 95% inventory accuracy with a target of 98%
3. Stockroom must be left organized during and after cycle counts are performed.
4. Responsible for training, testing and certifying all cycle count members.
5. Responsible for communicating hours to supervisor of assigned members
6. Responsible for 5S maintenance throughout CC process. This includes packaging and re-labeling of boxes, pallets, gaylords, etc.
7. Develop and maintain all cycle count metrics and reporting on PCC board
8. Develop strategies for physical Inventories at each location, responsible for organizing PI activities.
9. Responsible for ensuring proper communication from the floor and docks to the management staff of any and all material-related issues regarding material counts. (Cycle count results including scrap or BoM discrepancy)
10. Develop and follow the JCI Cycle Count program and processes
11. Meet Cycle count inventory goals and objectives and targets.
12. Coordinate Cycle Counts with the plants in Matamoros and Reynosa to insure accuracy for all sites
13. Define/develop corrective and preventive actions to ensure team safety while performing cycle counts.
14. Identify, correct, and report unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior
15. Participate in continuous improvement strategies and cost savings projects
HIRING HOURLY RANGE:
$18.00 - $20.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
