Summary:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurately counting, scanning, and reconciling inventory across multiple store locations. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, minimizing shrink, and supporting ordering and replenishment decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently while traveling between stores. This position may be eligible for additional incentive opportunities based on role and performance.
• Perform regular physical inventory counts of products, including shelf items, backstock, coolers, freezers, and storage areas
• Use handheld scanners or inventory software to scan and record inventory accurately
• Verify inventory counts against system records and identify discrepancies
• Investigate and report inventory variances, shortages, overages, or damaged goods
• Maintain accurate documentation and submit inventory reports in a timely manner
• Travel between multiple store locations according to a set schedule
• Follow established inventory procedures and food safety guidelines
• Work with store managers and staff to ensure counts are completed efficiently with minimal disruption to store operations
• Assist with cycle counts, spot checks, and special inventory audits as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory areas during counting activities
