Job Title: Team Member
Department: Inventory Control
Job Summary and Primary Objectives:
Maintain Cycle Counting. Responsible for the set-up and movement of inventory locations. Achieve company objectives related to inventory control, maintaining acceptable inventory accuracy. Oversee and continuously improve Inventory Control related policies and procedures. Coordinate and perform physical Inventory 2xs per year.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for acquiring accurate inventory.
- Review and update/create procedures.
- Driving a forklift or tugger to each department for parts management.
- Conduct annual physical inventory 2xs per year.
- Follow up on all inventory transactions and movement of parts.
- Coordinate with Quality all products that need to be returned to Quality.
- Work closely with shipping and production control.
- Seek and achieve cost saving ideas related to Inventory Control.
- Improve existing Inventory Control procedures.
- Daily cycle counting.
- Monthly cycle counting of washer, coil and pass thru bolts.
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Participate in 5S and Kaizen activities
- Other duties as assigned
