Inventory Controller (Logistics) | West | Up to $3500

📍 Location: Jurong East
💰 Salary: Up to S$3,500/month (commensurate with experience)
🗓️ Working Days: Monday – Friday (5-day work week)
🕒 Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Overtime: Candidates should be willing and able to commit to overtime when required.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Controller / Inventory Executive to oversee inventory management and warehouse inventory operations. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining stock integrity, and supporting daily warehouse operations while working closely with the Logistics Executive/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Act as the SAP key user for inventory transactions and reporting.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures within the warehouse.
• Perform daily cycle counts and periodic stock takes to achieve inventory accuracy KPIs.
• Coordinate inventory write-off activities, including product disposal.
• Monitor product shelf life to prevent expired inventory from being distributed.
• Serve as the main point of contact for inventory-related issues and escalations.
• Support new site-specific projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in developing and maintaining SOPs in compliance with ISO and AS9120 quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to inventory-related requests and enquiries.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, LEAN, and SCA to drive operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Proficient in SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, stock management, and cycle counting.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
