Inventory Management Specialist - 503B Manufacturing Animal Health

The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30 pm, with some flexibility needed due to production schedules.
- Responsible for incoming materials processing and inventory management. Devises policies and procedures in the areas of inventory control.
- Performs material handling functions within the department, moving product and components and waste within the department as required.
- Manages cycle counting of physical materials and ensures accuracy of stock levels.
- Maintains material data in ERP system and manages receipt of inventory through software transactions.
- Reconciles potential inventory losses, investigates shortages and discrepancies, and perform KPI indicator assessments.
- Processes rejected materials, and records information, as needed.
- Responsible for stock issuance and returns for production activities
- Notifies the Quality Department when cGMP shipments arrive
- Leads the efforts to sanitize materials into the controlled area
- Works in other functions within the Warehouse department, as needed such as picking, packing and shipping.
- Able to lift up to 49 lbs. and stand for extended periods when required
- APICs / CPIM certification strongly desired
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/standards required
- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills
- Ability to manage time and adhere to time frames
- Detail and accuracy oriented
- Computer abilities including data managing and shipping software
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of processing materials in an ERP system
- DOT HazMat Training desired.
- Comfortable wearing PPE as required to enter cleanrooms and transfer materials. PPE may include, respirators, gowns, and PAPR
- 1+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
