Inventory Management Specialist (Item Manager)

Analyze stock positions through constant study of known and anticipated demands and knowledge of current availability.

Coordinate the redistribution of material from using activities and/or program areas to maintain balanced stock levels.

Adjust supply decisions to provide optimum supply support avoiding over-obligation of the limited fund.

Re-evaluate outstanding requirements in case of funds shortage to determine which items may be suspended and those on which purchase action must be continued.

Initiate procurement of field maintenance stocks from manufacturers and/or national supply points for replenishment of local stocks and/or for direct shipment.
