Job Description
1. Scope of working:
Inventory Manager to oversee the lifecycle of our raw materials (aluminum profiles, glass sheets) and finished furniture products, oversee the lifecycle of high-value materials—from raw steel and timber to finished designer furniture—ensuring that our supply chain is lean, accurate, and ready to meet production demands.
2. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inventory Forecasting & Production Planning: Analyze production schedules to forecast raw material needs (including aluminum, glass, wood, and fittings), and partner with Procurement to manage long lead times on specialized imports to prevent production delays.
- Receiving Inspection & Handling Protocols: Oversee quality checks on incoming raw materials (detecting scratches, dents, or defects before offloading), enforce strict storage protocols to prevent damage/oxidation, and ensure glass/heavy-material PPE safety compliance.
- Cycle Counting & Variance Root-Cause Analysis: Design and lead a weekly cycle counting schedule for high-value raw stock and finished furniture, maintaining 100% ERP/system data accuracy and conducting root-cause analysis on stock discrepancies.
- Warehouse Layout & Space Optimization: Design and implement optimized warehouse layouts that improve material picking speeds, streamline workflow between storage and factory production lines, and guarantee safe movement of heavy, high-volume items.
- Stock Control & Factory Logistics: Monitor daily raw material disbursements to the factory floor, oversee finished furniture storage/dispatch schedules, and submit accurate weekly stock level and movement reports to management.
Job Requirements
3.Qualification & Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years and above of experience in inventory management, warehouse supervision, or factory logistics (experience in furniture, glass, aluminum, or manufacturing setups is strongly preferred).
- Language Skills: Good command of spoken and written English.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP/WMS inventory systems and Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reporting, and stock reconciliation).
- Key Attributes: Strong leadership, highly organized, analytical, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.

- Inventory Manager Is based at the Furniture Factory, inside the Grand Star Platinum.
5. Relationship:
Inventory Manager: works and reports directly to the CEO for All Factory Units and Machinery Service.
6.Working Days and Hours
- Monday to Saturday: 7:00am to 12:00pm & 1:00pm to 5:00pm
- Lunch time: 11:00am to 1:00pm
