Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor
We are seeking on behalf of our client (Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor), For a company that specialises in oilfield services, infrastructure development, and consulting within the petroleum industry.
overseeing warehouse
operations, inventory control, material handling, and logistics at a land rig or well site. This
role ensures that all drilling, maintenance, and operational materials are properly stored,
tracked, and distributed in a timely manner. The Inventory & Warehouse Supervisor works
closely with procurement, rig operations, and logistics teams to maintain accurate stock
levels and prevent shortages or delays that could impact drilling operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse
inventory, including receipts, storage, and issuance, ensuring accurate records
and proper organization.
- Implement and enforce warehouse organization systems (FIFO,
LIFO, etc.) to optimize space and accessibility.
- Handle
and store materials safely, adhering to HSE guidelines, and ensure efficient
use of lifting equipment.
- Coordinate
logistics and supply chain for timely delivery and tracking of materials.
- Conduct
inventory audits, maintain management software (Odoo is preferable, and will be trained on the software), and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, conduct
audits, and manage safe disposal of waste materials
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management,
Logistics,
Warehouse Management, or Engineering. - Minimum 5+ years of experience in warehouse
management, inventory
- control, or supply chain logistics, preferably
in the oil & gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control methods
- Experience with ERP systems for inventory management is plus.
- Ability to analyse stock variances and optimize inventory levels.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations related to warehouse storage and
material handling.
- Experience working at remote well sites or land rigs is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication problem-solving skills.
Certifications:
- Forklift Operation & Rigging Safety (if applicable).
- HSE Certification (OSHA / NEBOSH) is a plus.
- ERP or inventory management software training (Odoo is a plus).
