Investment Analyst

Join BIP32 Venture's investment team to support sourcing, evaluation, and monitoring of digital asset investments across DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 infrastructure, GameFi, and NFT ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive research on emerging blockchain protocols, decentralized applications, and token economic models
• Prepare investment memos covering market opportunity, competitive landscape, technical architecture, tokenomics, and risk assessment
• Build and maintain financial models for token valuation using discounted cash flow, comparable analysis, and scenario-based projections
• Track on-chain metrics and portfolio company performance using Dune Analytics, DefiLlama, and Nansen
• Attend conferences, hackathons, and demo days to source investments and maintain relationships
• Participate in investment committee meetings and present recommendations to senior leadership
• Coordinate quarterly reporting, KPI tracking, and strategic milestone reviews with portfolio companies
• Collaborate with the Deal Sourcing Lead to maintain the firm's deal pipeline

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, hedge funds, or crypto-native investment firms
• Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, smart contract architecture, and cross-chain bridging
• Proficiency with on-chain analytics platforms and extracting insights from raw blockchain data
• Strong quantitative skills, financial modeling experience, and rigorous due diligence capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Active Web3 ecosystem participation through personal projects, open-source contributions, DAO governance, or community involvement
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field
