Investment Analyst
Summary
Evaluate startup investment opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and financial review; support due diligence, portfolio monitoring, fund reporting, and CRM management while leveraging AI tools to improve investment workflows.
You will evaluate investment opportunities through market research customer validation competitive analysis financial review and business performance assessment. You will support due diligence prepare evidence based recommendations track relevant markets and technologies and build relationships with founders investors and ecosystem participants. You will source opportunities support portfolio companies monitor performance assist with fund reporting maintain CRM records and improve investment workflows using technology and AI. You will also help develop office systems processes events and regional ecosystem initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate investment opportunities through market research customer validation competitive analysis financial review and business performance assessment
- Support investment due diligence and prepare evidence based recommendations
- Track markets and technologies relevant to the investment strategy
- Build relationships with founders investors venture capital firms and ecosystem participants
- Source investment opportunities through events networks community activity and relationships
- Support the investment pipeline CRM discipline capital raising operations and regional ecosystem presence
- Support portfolio companies through research strategic projects introductions and ecosystem relationships
- Monitor portfolio performance operating metrics and reporting requirements
- Assist with fund reporting valuation analysis investor updates records and capital raising materials
- Maintain CRM records meeting notes follow ups and pipeline tracking
- Build or improve tools agents and workflows for investment processes
- Support office systems processes events and ecosystem initiatives
