Investment Analyst
You will research public companies and listed assets, with emphasis on frontier sectors such as AI, semiconductors, robotics, space, biotech, and power infrastructure. You will build revenue forecasts and scenario analyses, evaluate valuations and catalysts, and maintain a model portfolio or watchlist. You will translate your work into approximately 10 high-quality X posts per day, including threads, charts, updates, and investor takeaways. You will also adapt strong research for PRO, newsletters, podcast or video, and other distribution formats.
Responsibilities
- Research public companies from the bottom up, including business models, segments, revenue drivers, margins, competitive position, valuation, and market expectations
- Build defensible revenue forecasts and scenario analyses
- Read filings, earnings transcripts, investor presentations, research, industry data, and primary sources
- Track catalysts, guidance changes, capex cycles, product launches, regulatory shifts, and supply and demand bottlenecks
- Maintain a portfolio and watchlist with investment views, position sizing, time horizons, risk levels, and thesis status
- Update investment picks when facts change and communicate upside, downside, pricing, and monitoring factors
- Produce roughly 10 high-quality X posts per day
- Create analyst-grade X threads with hooks, numbers, charts or visuals, reasoning, and investor takeaways
- Adapt research and models into Milk Road PRO, newsletter, podcast, video, and other distribution formats
Requirements
- Read 10-K filings and parse earnings calls
- Understand revenue drivers and build forecasts
- Have strong interest or coverage depth in AI, semiconductors, robotics, space, biotech, infrastructure, or other frontier sectors
- Write clear investor-focused analysis
- Use systems, watchlists, models, and AI workflows to operate at speed
- Use AI responsibly for source discovery, synthesis, modeling support, editing, and pressure-testing
