Investment Associate
You will evaluate investment opportunities through financial analysis and modelling, prepare due diligence reports, and develop knowledge across private-market strategies. You will support product launches and cross-functional initiatives, monitor fundraising performance, create presentations, and turn data from multiple sources into actionable conclusions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data and models in Excel to evaluate investment opportunities
- Develop understanding of private-market strategies, including buyout, growth, venture capital, secondaries, infrastructure, and private debt
- Prepare due diligence reports for primary fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions
- Drive strategic initiatives, including new product launches and cross-functional projects
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance
- Design and refine PowerPoint presentations that summarise findings and recommendations
- Collaborate internally to execute and commercialise investment opportunities
- Contextualise data and insights from multiple sources to provide actionable conclusions
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant financial-services experience in investment banking, transaction services, private markets, consulting, or a start-up
- Technical and analytical skills, including financial valuation analysis
- High proficiency in Excel, including financial and valuation modelling
- Research skills
- Written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to build relationships, listen, and persuade
- Eligibility to live and work in Berlin
