Investment Banking Associate Secondary Advisory
You will manage transaction workstreams for private market liquidity solutions, oversee financial analyses and valuation models, coordinate due diligence, develop client presentations, contribute to strategic recommendations, manage Analysts, support origination, and maintain client and investor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution workstreams across GP-led secondary transactions
- Develop and review financial models and valuation analyses
- Prepare marketing materials, investor presentations, transaction memoranda, and management presentations
- Coordinate financial, operational, and commercial due diligence
- Manage transaction timelines and communications
- Analyze portfolio company performance and valuation trends
- Identify transaction risks and opportunities
- Develop private market expertise and monitor market developments
- Analyze institutional investor behavior and liquidity needs
- Conduct industry research and strategic assessments
- Manage and mentor Analysts
- Review junior team deliverables
- Support Analyst and intern onboarding
- Support origination and business development
- Prepare pitch materials and client proposals
- Serve as a day-to-day client and investor contact
- Assist with strategic recommendations and liquidity solutions
- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, secondary advisory, private equity, fund finance, or alternative asset management
