micro1 is engaging Investment Banking Consultants (Bulge Bracket) to contribute their expertise to a customer's project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Design assignments that reflect authentic banking workflows, including pitch preparation, sector coverage, deal execution, and client update processes.
- Produce and critique associate-to-VP-level deliverables such as pitchbooks, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), deal memos, and market analyses.
- Evaluate model-generated outputs for numerical accuracy, structural integrity, and adherence to banking communication standards.
- Craft detailed rubrics that distinguish between pitch-ready materials and early drafts, capturing both content quality and narrative polish.
- Identify and annotate common failure modes in banking deliverables, such as incorrect valuation multiples, vague language, or weak transaction rationales.
- Contribute insights on best practices for presenting financial modeling outputs within persuasive client-facing documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience at a bulge-bracket or elite boutique investment banking firm.
- Proven track record producing high-quality pitchbooks, CIMs, deal memos, or similar materials for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to translate quantitative analysis into clear, compelling narratives.
- Exceptional written English with mastery of professional banking register and terminology.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to numerical precision in all deliverables.
- Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance) preferred; relevant certifications a plus.
- Familiarity with current market conventions and persuasive communication techniques in investment banking contexts.
