Summary
Senior Analyst builds financial models and conducts valuations for M&A and capital-raising deals in media and entertainment, prepares client presentations, and mentors junior staff.
You will perform financial and valuation analyses for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions. You will build financial models, conduct due diligence and industry research, prepare client and management presentations, participate in meetings, support business development, develop client relationships, and mentor interns and less experienced Analysts.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial and valuation analyses for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions
- Build financial models using comparable companies, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow methods
- Conduct due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation
- Identify and escalate transaction issues
- Draft management presentations
- Develop proposals and client presentations
- Draft marketing materials
- Participate in client meetings and drafting sessions
- Research industries and sectors
- Streamline processes and propose solutions
- Develop client relationships and anticipate information needs
- Analyze macroeconomic factors affecting client industries
- Mentor summer interns and Analysts
- Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior investment banking experience
- 2+ years of Analyst or equivalent experience
