The Role
We are seeking a Vice President to join our Investment Banking team, based in Stockholm. The VP will play a central role in originating and executing M&A, private placement, and capital markets transactions for technology companies across the Nordic region. The position requires a highly motivated individual with deep knowledge of the Nordic technology landscape, strong technical foundations, and the ability to manage client relationships with confidence at senior levels.
Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A and private capital transactions across the Nordics, including process management, due diligence coordination, and negotiation support
Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses) to support deal advisory and business development
Take ownership of client-facing materials including Information Memoranda, management presentations, and board-level financial analyses
Manage and mentor junior Associates and Analysts, providing structured guidance and review
Work collaboratively across GP Bullhound's global offices and product lines, including growth equity and research
Requirements
Proven investment banking experience, with a strong track record in M&A or private capital transactions
Demonstrable experience in the technology sector, with knowledge of the Nordic market strongly preferred — covering software, fintech, gaming, deep tech, or related subsectors
Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication in English; fluency in Swedish or another Nordic language is advantageous
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-party processes with a high degree of organisation and attention to detail
Degree-level education; CFA or equivalent qualification is advantageous
