Investment Operations/ Investment Accounting (IABOR) - Manager / Senior Manager

About the Role

Our client, a leading global asset management firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Investment Operations (IABOR) to oversee investment book of record data integrity and support a key middle-office service provider transition.

The role will focus on ensuring the accuracy of portfolio valuations, transactions, cash and positions data while driving operational improvements and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accuracy and integrity of Investment Accounting Book of Record (IABOR) data.

• Ensure the quality of market values, transactions, cash balances and positions for downstream reporting.

• Work closely with outsourced middle-office service providers and internal stakeholders.

• Support requirements gathering, impact assessments, process documentation and operational change initiatives.

• Coordinate UAT, system integration testing and implementation activities.

• Identify operational risks, strengthen controls and drive process improvements.

• Support project governance, stakeholder reporting and service provider transition activities.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in middle-office or investment operations within asset management.

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

• Strong understanding of asset management operations, fund accounting and investment data reconciliation.

• Experience managing outsourced middle-office service providers.

• Knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin would be advantageous.

• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

• Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
