Investment Professionals Associate - EU
You will join EQT's European investment platform as an Associate, contributing across the full investment lifecycle including sourcing, due diligence, execution, active ownership, and value creation initiatives within portfolio companies. You will work closely with Partners and senior team members, gaining exposure to high-impact projects across strategies such as Healthcare/Life Sciences, Private Equity/Ventures/Growth, Infrastructure, and Real Estate. You will conduct financial analysis and commercial assessments, build financial models, prepare investment materials, monitor portfolio company performance, and collaborate with investment professionals, management teams, and advisors, while leveraging technology and AI-enhanced tools to improve your analysis and insight generation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and commercial assessment of potential investment opportunities across sectors and markets
- Support investment teams in evaluating businesses through structured problem solving, critical thinking, and data-driven insights
- Prepare high-quality investment materials and contribute to decision-making processes across the full investment lifecycle
- Build and maintain financial models to assess company performance, investment scenarios, and value creation opportunities
- Collaborate closely with investment professionals, portfolio company management teams, advisors, and external stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and value creation plans
- Participate in research and market mapping activities to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and new investment themes
- Leverage technology and AI-enhanced ways of working to improve efficiency, analysis, and insight generation, while critically assessing and validating outputs
- Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with sound commercial judgment
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and actionable recommendations

- Strong attention to detail alongside the ability to maintain a broader strategic perspective

- 1-4 years of relevant experience from investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or other analytically rigorous environments is considered advantageous
