Investment Research Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industry, market, and macroeconomic research to identify investment opportunities and emerging trends.
- Source, screen, and evaluate potential investment opportunities in line with the Company's investment strategy.
- Perform financial and commercial analysis, coordinate due diligence, and prepare investment reports, memoranda, and presentations.
- Support investment transactions by coordinating with internal teams and external advisors throughout the investment process.
- Monitor portfolio companies' performance and provide regular portfolio updates and market insights.
- Support fundraising activities, business development initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Maintain investment databases, deal pipelines, and market intelligence records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment management, investment banking, corporate finance, investment research, or related investment functions.
- Proven experience in investment research, investment analysis, deal sourcing, due diligence, and transaction support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial statement analysis skills.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant business applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
