Summary

Design and maintain network security automation solutions across multi-vendor data center environments using Python, Ansible, Jinja2, and CI/CD pipelines, integrating with monitoring, security tools, and APIs.

  • Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions across multi-vendor environments.
  • Automate network device provisioning, configuration, and change management.
  • Develop reusable automation workflows using Python, Ansible, Jinja2, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement automated monitoring, validation, capacity management, and remediation processes.
  • Develop and maintain configuration templates and automation modules for network devices.
  • Integrate network automation with existing infrastructure, security tools, monitoring platforms, and APIs.
  • Support automation of data center networks, including VXLAN-EVPN, Layer 2/Layer 3 routing, and underlay/overlay technologies.
  • Implement network performance monitoring and optimization, including latency, bandwidth, and capacity analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic inventories, custom Ansible modules, and automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Follow software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Experience in network automation and network engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience using networking libraries such as Netmiko, NAPALM, PyEZ, or Nornir.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jinja2, YAML, JSON, and Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of network management and automation protocols, including NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI, gNOI, and vendor-specific REST APIs.
  • Understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols and network security concepts.
  • Experience with VXLAN-EVPN and modern data center networking is highly desirable.
  • Experience with network monitoring and observability technologies such as SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow, streaming telemetry, and log analysis.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and visualization platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Coralogix, or Power BI is desirable.
  • Experience with Linux administration, shell scripting, system configuration, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux is desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as NetBox, JIRA, NetBrain, LogicMonitor, or NetBackup is a plus.
