Investments Analyst Summer Intern

Link’s 10-week paid summer internship program helps students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of logistics real estate. We offer internships in a variety of departments including Capital Markets, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, Asset Management and more.

Link is looking for actively enrolled juniors rising into their senior year who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in real estate investments. Summer interns on the Investments team will be exposed to multiple markets and properties across the industrial real estate sector and will work closely with a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You Will Do:

  • Support full-time investment analysts and associates across all aspects of new deal underwriting, including preparing investment models, investment committee memorandums, market research, management presentations, and real estate sale and lease comparables for selected markets.

  • Assist with market research and analysis of industrial real estate trends across key markets.

  • Support property underwriting, financial modeling, and investment memoranda.

  • Analyze tenant, lease, and operating performance data.

  • Help evaluate acquisition and disposition opportunities.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and investment committee materials.

  • Collaborate with Investments, Leasing, Research & Analytics, Asset Management, and other teams on strategic projects.

  • Present project findings and recommendations to management at the conclusion of the internship.

  • Gain exposure to the due diligence and closing processes, including reviewing purchase agreements and leases, tenant credit evaluations, financial due diligence, property tours, tenant interviews, tenant industry research, and site diligence related to structural, environmental, zoning, and other property conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Current junior rising into senior year at an accredited four-year institution and actively enrolled for the duration of the internship.

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in commercial real estate investment and asset management; prior experience is preferred but not required.

  • Basic understanding of real estate investment and financing processes, including market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, and capital markets.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfort interacting with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Knowledge of Argus is preferred but not required.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and develop an understanding of the real estate investment process.

$45/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
