The role
The Director Investor Relations plays a leading role within the Investor Relations team, as deputy to the Head of Investor Relations, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other capital market stakeholders.
This role ensures the company’s strategy, performance, and value creation story are communicated clearly, consistently and credibly to the market. Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, the position partners closely with the CEO, CFO, Finance, Communications, and Legal teams. The role sits within Finance function.
What you'll be responsible for
Executing the Investor Relations strategy
Refining the equity story and investment proposition
Maintaining strong relationships with key investors and analysts
Representing the company towards investors, analysts, and other stakeholders
Monitoring analyst models, consensus forecasts, valuation metrics and market sentiment
Preparing quarterly earnings and annual results publications and supporting materials
Partnering with Finance, Legal, Corporate Affairs, and Communications colleagues
Coordinating investor roadshows, conferences, and other meetings
Providing investor feedback, market intelligence, and peer insights
Supporting during periods of significant corporate change or market volatility
Leveraging technology, digital tools, and AI-enabled insights
Championing best practice and supporting development of the Investor Relations team
We're looking for someone who has
Degree or other relevant qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business Administration
Relevant work experience, including Finance, Investor Relations, or related fields
Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation, and capital markets
Proven experience engaging with investors, analysts, and/or other relevant stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Capacity to combine strategic thinking with financial analysis
High level of integrity, judgement, and attention to detail
Ability to perform effectively in a high-profile, fast-paced, hands-on environment
Executive presence and presentation skills
Strong project management and organization/coordination skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, plus experience with IR and CRM platforms
