Reed Technology is partnering with an innovative Glasgow-based software company that develops real-time communication and accessibility solutions used by people around the world.

We're looking for an iOS Developer to join a collaborative engineering team and play a key role in developing high-quality mobile applications that make a genuine difference to users. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful products while gaining exposure to cutting-edge communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality native iOS applications.
  • Build intuitive user-facing features with a strong focus on performance and user experience.
  • Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and external services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience developing native iOS applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Ideally with experience integrating APIs and working with mobile application architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to Android development.
  • Knowledge of C++.
  • Experience with, or an interest in learning:
    • WebRTC
    • SIP
    • IP Networking
    • Video encoding and decoding technologies
