iOS Developer (Swift)

Summary

Native iOS Developer (part-time) building and maintaining an Arabic-first health app in Swift/SwiftUI, integrating HealthKit and wearable data for a HealthTech platform.

Our client is a fast-growing HealthTech company building the Arab world's first unified health-data platform — an Arabic-first app that brings together sleep, nutrition, activity and heart data from 15+ wearables, with an AI health assistant built for Arabic users.

We're looking for a native iOS Developer to work part-time and fully remote on our consumer health app. You'll craft polished, Arabic-first (RTL) experiences, integrate HealthKit and wearable data, and ship features used daily across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain native iOS features in Swift
  • Develop UI with SwiftUI (and/or UIKit) using a clean architecture (MVVM)
  • Integrate HealthKit and third-party wearable/device data
  • Consume backend REST APIs; handle offline persistence and state cleanly
  • Implement full Arabic RTL localization with a smooth, accessible UX
  • Optimize performance, memory and battery usage
  • Manage releases through App Store Connect

Requirements

  • Proven experience shipping production iOS apps in Swift
  • Strong SwiftUI (and/or UIKit) and modern architecture skills
  • Experience with async/await / Combine, URLSession and local persistence (Core Data / SwiftData)
  • Comfortable with REST API integration and offline-first patterns
  • Bonus: HealthKit, wearable SDKs, RTL/Arabic apps
  • Self-directed and reliable in a remote, part-time setup

Skills:

  • Swift · SwiftUI / UIKit · MVVM · Combine / async-await
  • URLSession · Core Data / SwiftData · REST APIs
  • HealthKit · RTL localization · App Store deployment

Benefits

  • 100% remote, flexible part-time hours
  • Modern SwiftUI codebase with real ownership
  • Meaningful health product with regional scale
