Role description:
Builds native iOS features in Swift/SwiftUI, integrating with backend APIs and owning releases through App Store publishing.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain native iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI
- Integrate with RESTful backend services
- Write unit and UI tests, and profile/debug using Xcode Instruments
- Apply secure coding practices (SSL, Keychain storage, jailbreak/MiTM awareness)
- Manage dependencies using Swift Packages
- Participate in the app release process through App Store submission
Required
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience
- Strong Swift skills, including SwiftUI and core OOP concepts (protocols, extensions, enums)
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with libraries such as Alamofire, Realm, and async/await
- Familiarity with common iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM)
- Experience with unit and UI testing, and debugging with Xcode Instruments
- Understanding of iOS security fundamentals (SSL, Keychain, jailbreak/MiTM/DoS awareness)
- Experience managing the full app lifecycle, including Swift Packages and App Store publishing
Preferred
- Experience with other mobile platforms (e.g., Android)
- Experience with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)
- CI experience (e.g., GitHub workflows)
- Agile methodology experience
- Comfortable using AI tools for analysis, documentation, and process improvement
