About the role
At MC Headhunting, we are looking for an IP Criminal Litigation and Anti-Counterfeiting lawyer for a boutique specializing in Industrial Property (Barcelona or Madrid).
What you'll do
- Take responsibility for the criminal department regarding Industrial Property, including Brand protection.
- Anti-piracy at national and international levels.
- Handling criminal litigation from start to finish: complaint, Instruction phase, Abbreviated Procedure, opening of the Oral Trial.
- Preparation of all types of documents in criminal matters within the scope of Industrial Property: complaints, indictment/defense briefs, motions to expedite, etc.
- Preparation of oral conclusions, expert reports, witness statements, among others.
- Client portfolio management: direct contact with national and international clients.
- Preparation of requirements and responses to requirements.
- Negotiation with opposing parties; preparation of settlement agreements.
- Liaising with customs and other security forces regarding Industrial Property.
- Coordination of police operations.
What we're looking for
- More than 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Degree in Law and a Master's in Legal Practice (Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía) certified in Spain.
- Specialization Master's in Industrial Property.
- Membership in the Spanish Bar.
- Advanced level of English.
- Strategic mindset, ability to handle matters with autonomy, good communication skills.
- Organized person, with the capacity to handle a high volume of files.
