IP Manager

Support global patent portfolio management and patent prosecution activities in Japan and abroad

Identify patentable inventions and contribute to IP strategy in collaboration with R&D and business teams

Liaise with international IP teams and external counsel on patent, FTO, and contractual matters

Review IP-related clauses in commercial, supplier, and research agreements

Contribute to IP awareness, training, and cross-functional collaboration

5+ years of experience in patent prosecution, search, or portfolio management

Background in life sciences, medical devices, or related technical fields

Strong business-level English communication skills

Patent attorney qualification is a plus

Proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work in global environments
