Location: New York, NY — Hybrid. Enjoy working in our Manhattan office Monday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Fridays and additional designated periods throughout the year.

Note: We are seeking attorneys with 3+ years of IP and technology transactions experience, ideally gained at a reputable law firm. Candidates should have experience handling intellectual property licensing, technology-related agreements, or other sophisticated IP and technology transactions.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented IP & Technology Transactions Associate Attorney to join our New York team. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking to expand their expertise while working on sophisticated intellectual property and technology-related matters.In this role, you will:

• Advise clients on sophisticated intellectual property and technology transactions across diverse industries.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP licensing agreements, technology contracts, and other complex commercial agreements.
• Support intellectual property matters arising from mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic business transactions.
• Assist with technology licensing, commercialization arrangements, and strategic collaborations.
• Conduct IP-related due diligence, evaluate transactional risks, and help develop practical legal solutions.
• Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, M&A, technology, and other practice areas on sophisticated transactions.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and protect valuable intellectual property assets.
• Take ownership of meaningful transactional responsibilities while continuing to develop your legal expertise.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of IP and technology transactions experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating intellectual property licensing agreements, technology contracts, or related commercial agreements.
• Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across offices, practice areas, and legal teams.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
• Active New York bar admission preferred.
• Experience at a reputable commercial law firm preferred.
• Strong academic credentials preferred.
