Roles & responsibilities
Performing initial review of client continuance forms and determining which forms need to be renewed.
Contacting client teams and advising the engagement team on the steps they need to take to renew the forms.
Assisting with the client acceptance and engagement acceptance system controls and updates.
Assisting with the controls pertaining to the independence training.
Responding to team queries and working on ad hoc projects as they arise.
Assisting with the firm’s internal audit compliance program, producing compliance data for the firm’s leadership and external regulators.
Working to develop, implement and monitor appropriate global and local risk compliance policies and procedures through alerts, line of business visits and training
Assisting with the drafting, update and implementation of action plans to address non-compliance with controls and reporting on compliance issues and findings.
Educational qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
ACCA Pursuing or affiliate
Additional certifications (if any)
Work experience
0 – 1 year experience in relevant field
Mandatory technical & functional skills
Prioritising work using time management and organisational skills – must possess excellent multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel and Word
Administration skills with an ability to work unsupervised on day-to-day duties and tasks
A high degree of enthusiasm and adaptability
