Irrigation Engineer
HanmiGlobal Saudi is looking for a skilled Irrigation Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and management of irrigation systems in various projects. The successful candidate will work closely with landscape architects and civil engineers to ensure efficient and sustainable irrigation solutions that meet project requirements and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop irrigation systems including layout, hydraulic calculations, and equipment selection.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate irrigation systems with landscape and civil designs.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation and functioning of irrigation systems.
- Prepare technical documents, specifications, and reports related to irrigation works.
- Evaluate and recommend irrigation technologies and water-saving solutions.
- Support procurement processes by specifying irrigation materials and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting irrigation systems during and after installation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
- At least 12 years of experience in irrigation design, installation, and management.
- Proficiency in irrigation design software and AutoCAD is required.
- Good understanding of water resource management, hydraulics, and soil-water-plant relationships.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Saudi local standards and regulations is preferred.
