POSITION SUMMARY:
Clean Scapes is seeking an experienced Irrigation Repair Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial landscape irrigation systems. This is a hands-on field position responsible for diagnosing irrigation problems and completing the necessary repairs to keep systems operating properly and efficiently. The Irrigation Repair Technician will work with controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, piping, wiring, and other irrigation components while supporting commercial properties throughout the assigned service area.The ideal candidate has strong irrigation repair experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently to identify problems and determine the appropriate repair.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot Irrigation Systems: Diagnose leaks, pressure problems, coverage issues, electrical problems, controller issues, and other irrigation system deficiencies.
- Perform Irrigation Repairs: Repair and replace valves, sprinkler heads, nozzles, piping, fittings, wiring, and other irrigation system components.
- Controller Troubleshooting: Inspect, troubleshoot, program, and adjust irrigation controllers to ensure proper system operation and scheduling.
- Locate & Repair Leaks: Identify the source of irrigation leaks or system failures and complete appropriate repairs.
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose basic irrigation electrical issues involving controllers, valves, solenoids, wiring, and related components.
- System Adjustments: Adjust sprinkler heads, nozzles, coverage, pressure, and system settings to improve irrigation performance and efficiency.
- Inspect Completed Repairs: Test systems following repairs to confirm proper operation and ensure the original issue has been resolved.
- Document Work: Accurately document identified issues, repairs completed, materials used, and any additional recommended work.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine irrigation maintenance and identify potential problems before they result in larger system failures.
- Field Communication: Communicate repair needs, completed work, and additional recommendations to supervisors, team members, and clients when appropriate.
- Equipment & Safety: Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow all company safety procedures while working in the field.
