Summary
Administer and secure Windows servers, end-user systems, and IT infrastructure while providing technical support and ensuring smooth operations for a corporate environment.
- Summary: Ensure the smooth, efficient, and secure operation of the company's IT services and infrastructure by administering, supporting, and maintaining servers, end-user systems, and IT security controls. Provide technical expertise to resolve incidents, coordinate changes, and continuously improve IT operations
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in a corporate
- Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet preferred.
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus
- Role:
- 1. Server & IT Services Administration
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and File Server environments.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and support on-premises/cloud server environments.
- Oversee Microsoft SCOM, SCCM, WSUS, HelpDesk and Office 365 (Outlook, Office, Teams) administration.
- Perform patch management and ensure regular backups for servers and Office 365 users.
- 2. End-User Support
- Provide advanced support for Microsoft Windows client operating systems and productivity tools.
- Assist users with technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- 3. Infrastructure & IT Security
- Support IT security controls, including email security, endpoint protection, patch and vulnerability management, and security policy enforcement.
- Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of SAN, NAS, firewall, and network devices (in coordination with network specialists).
- 4. Change & Patch Management
- Coordinate with team members and vendors for infrastructure enhancements, updates, and change requests.
- Manage deployment of patches and updates for end-user clients, servers, and infrastructure applications.
- Test and validate new releases before production rollout.
- 5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for server configurations, infrastructure changes, and support activities.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and IT standards.
- 6. User Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Provide training and guidance to business users on new features, enhancements, and best practices for supported systems.
- 7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance IT infrastructure, user experience, and operational efficiency.
- Recommend process and workflow improvements based on user feedback and system performance.

- Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Head of IT.
