Summary
Maintains and secures IT systems for U.S. diplomatic missions in Australia, providing technical support and cybersecurity oversight across multiple channels.
Salary: $100,291 + performance bonus + super

From strengthening network security to championing cybersecurity best practices, you'll play a key role in safeguarding the technology that powers diplomacy in Australia.
Major duties and responsibilities include:
Systems administration and technical support
Training, knowledge management, and cybersecurity
Projects and administrative support
Applicants must have:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Library and Data Science/Analytics, or Audio/Visual Communications and Technology, plus 2 years of experience in computer networking, network management, or systems utilization
2 years of full-time college studies plus 4 years of experience in computer networking, network management, or systems utilization
Demonstrated knowledge of hardware, software, and cloud-based technologies; computer networking; or the technical aspects of systems analysis, application development, and management advisory services
