IT Analyst
Salary: $5,000 – $7,500 per month
Job Responsibilities
1. Handle daily desktop IT operations for Nanhua Singapore, including computers, printers, peripherals, office software installation, and troubleshooting.
2. Ensure stable operation of LAN, internet, VPN, and Wi-Fi for Nanhua Singapore offices; resolve basic network issues.
3. Perform regular data center inspections, monitor server status, manage NAS backups, and review logs to ensure 24/7 system stability for the company’s trading and office systems.
4. Deploy and maintain trading terminal environments, manage accounts and permissions, ensuring trading software operates smoothly.
5. Collaborate with the parent company’s network team to support cross-border network configuration, policy adjustments, system upgrades, and migration tasks.
6. Maintain IT asset records, manage software licenses, handle account creation/deactivation, and process daily IT support tickets for Nanhua Singapore.
7. Prepare and retain system logs, backup records, and inspection reports in compliance with MAS TRMG (Technology Risk Management Guidelines) and internal policies.
8. Assist the compliance department in IT audits by providing required documentation, supporting inspections, and implementing remediation actions in line with MAS TRMG.
9. Respond promptly to urgent issues, quickly identify and resolve problems to ensure business continuity of Nanhua Singapore operations.
10. Communicate with clients regarding technical hosting and other IT solutions, and ensure successful execution.
11. Coordinate in completing daily IT operations, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently.
12. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or above, preferably in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
At least 3 years of experience in IT operations, with desktop, network, and server maintenance skills
Familiar with Windows/macOS desktop systems; able to independently troubleshoot hardware/software issues, install drivers, and optimize systems.
Basic knowledge of networking: IP planning, switches, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and basic configuration/troubleshooting.
Basic server operations knowledge; familiar with Linux/Windows Server; NAS maintenance experience is a plus.
Experience with trading software in the securities, futures, or forex industry is a plus, including Longbridge, uSMART, ATP, TT (Trading Technologies), CQG, Bloomberg, MT4.
Strong service orientation, responsibility, and stress tolerance; able to complete tasks on time and update progress promptly.
Good communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with the parent company’s remote team.
Able to independently handle daily IT operations, detail-oriented, and strong execution skills.
Knowledge of MAS TRMG (Technology Risk Management Guidelines) and ability to implement IT operations in line with regulatory requirements.
