IT Analyst

Requirements

• The Candidate shall possess at least a Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Candidate should have good experience in .NET (primarily) along with Java experience as secondary.
• The Candidate shall have at least THREE (3) years of working experience in the IT or Infocomm industry, with exposure to end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC). Prior experience with project implementations in Singapore is preferred.
• The Candidate shall have at least TWO (2) years of working experience with one or more of the following relational databases and be proficient in using SQL:

1. -MySQL
2. -MS SQL
3. -PostgreSQL
4. -MariaDB
5. -Amazon Aurora

• The Candidate shall have at least ONE (1) year of working experience in XSL, XML or JSON programming.
• The Candidate shall have at least ONE (1) year experience in writing shell scripts to automate deployment and maintenance of the applications both in standalone and cluster environments.
• The Candidate shall have development experience in Python scripting.
• The Candidate shall have experience or knowledge in one or more AWS services for example:

1. - Lambda
2. - SQS
3. - Secrets Manager
4. - Cloud Formation

• The Candidate shall have experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), including web services integration using SOAP and/or REST based web services.
• The Candidate is preferably to have JAVA development experience.
• The Candidate is preferably to have experience in working in Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) environment.

• The Candidate shall have at least THREE (3) years of experience and be proficient in:

1. Requirements and impact analysis, including evaluating and recommending feasible technical implementations etc;
2. IT operational support, including incident management, defect tracking, source code version control, release management, deployment to Production etc;
3. Project management support, including maintaining issue log and change control records, documenting operational procedures/guides, coordinating with users etc.

• It is an added advantage that the Candidate has working experience in government agency environment with exposure to IM8, WOGAA, Digital Standards, and/or other Singapore government security policies compliance requirements.
• The Candidate is preferred to have experience working in areas of digital preservation and archival domain.
  The Candidate is preferred to have experience working with excel objects, building interfaces to other applications in the .Net platform and possess the ability to analyze/extract data for batch processing/ingestion.
• The Candidate is preferred to have experience implementing good security practices in application development & support.
• The Candidate is preferred to have working experience in doing system design and documentation that are thorough, concise as well as easily readable, such as data modeling, functional specifications, design specifications, interface specification and sequence diagram.
