About the role
The IT and Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, developing, implementing, and improving the organization's technology systems, infrastructure, equipment, and technical processes. The role supports daily operations, ensures system reliability and efficiency, resolves technical issues, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for IT systems, engineering equipment, hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
Install, configure, monitor, and maintain computer systems, networks, equipment, and technical applications as applicable to the assigned role.
Identify technical problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Support the design, development, testing, implementation, and improvement of technical systems, engineering solutions, and operational processes.
Perform routine inspections, system updates, preventive maintenance, and performance monitoring to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, information security requirements, quality standards, and applicable safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, system records, maintenance logs, and project-related documents.
Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to address technical requirements and operational concerns.
Participate in technical projects, system upgrades, equipment installations, process improvements, and other assigned initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and support to end users or operational teams when necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, depending on the position.
Relevant experience in IT support, engineering operations, system maintenance, technical troubleshooting, or a related role is an advantage.
Knowledge of relevant technical tools, systems, equipment, software, and industry standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication, coordination, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing requirements, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
