About the role
The Asset and Knowledge Management Lead is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of IT assets and developing a robust organizational knowledge base. This role ensures accurate tracking, proper documentation, and effective workflows. The incumbent will manage the acquisition, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets using industry-standard tools and practices, while enabling clear visibility of the organization's technology landscape and optimizing resource utilization.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage key IT asset-related projects
Define and drive the enterprise-wide IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategy, covering hardware, software, cloud, and SaaS assets
Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and internal governance policies
Oversee and continuously improve the full asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and retirement
Implement and maintain ITAM tools, ensuring CMDB accuracy and effective asset tracking processes
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain asset hygiene, patch compliance, and manage end-of-life risks
Lead audits and ensure accurate asset inventories to support regulatory, financial, and security compliance
Define KPIs, build reporting dashboards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for ITAM
Enforce governance standards such as naming conventions, configuration policies, and asset controls
Manage the ITAM function, including policy development, training, and stakeholder alignment across Technology, Finance, and Procurement teams
About you
6+ years of relevant experience in project management, IT asset management, configuration management, and knowledge management
Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory frameworks, including MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines, Cyber Hygiene, and Cybersecurity Code of Practice
Proven experience leading small to mid-sized teams
Ability to manage large-scale, complex initiatives and competing priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to track and review tasks accurately
Solid knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and CMDB practices
ITIL certification is preferred
