IT Asset Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inventory Management: Maintain a detailed inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software.
• Procurement: Coordinate the acquisition of new assets based on organizational needs.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal.
• Compliance: Ensure all assets comply with organizational policies and vendor contracts.
• Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize technology spending and eliminate waste.
• Policy Development: Create and implement policies for asset management.
• Data Management: Maintain databases and records of licenses, service agreements, and warranties.
• Budget Planning: Ensure the IT department’s budget is adhered to, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses and financial forecasting to support decision-making.
• Other duties as assigned.
