IT Assistant Manager
About the Role
Fu Yu Corporation is seeking a hands-on and technically strong IT Assistant Manager to support both FYC Singapore operations and Group IT initiatives across the region. This role will be responsible for managing enterprise infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, IT operations, and technology projects while ensuring high system availability, security, and compliance.
As the key technical deputy to the Group Head of IT, you will play a critical role in driving IT standardization, digital transformation, cybersecurity maturity, and IT operational excellence across Singapore and regional sites.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure, servers, Microsoft 365, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
Administer and troubleshoot corporate network environments, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, VPN, firewalls, and network security appliances.
Lead cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability management, endpoint security, patch management, incident response, and compliance initiatives.
Support Group IT projects and regional deployments across Singapore, Malaysia, and China.
Drive IT governance, audit readiness, cybersecurity compliance, and policy enforcement.
Manage IT vendors, outsourced service providers, and technology partners.
Coach and mentor IT team members while promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related discipline.
6-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory / Entra ID
VMware or Hyper-V
Enterprise networking (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba or equivalent)
Firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and network security
Cybersecurity technologies and best practices
Experience in manufacturing environments and multi-site operations will be an advantage.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Azure, CEH, or ITIL are preferred.
