IT Automation Engineer

My client is a NZ leading Software / Infrastructure Services company that develop unique IT Infrastructure and Automation solutions for an Australasian client base. Their clients are typically private or public sector organisations that leverage powerful geographical, location based mapping and spatial analysis services, tools and data.

We're on the lookout for a talented junior or intermediate level IT Automation Engineer to join an Infrastructure and Automation Engineering team. The focus of this role is to build and support a complex infrastructure platform and implement Automation solutions to improve consistency, scalability and speed.

From a technical perspective you're currently working in a Systems or Infrastructure or DevOps Engineering role and have some solid fundamental experience with Automation. You'll have a broad range of IT experiences covering Virtualisation, Systems Administration (Windows or Linux) and Networking and have had the opportunity to work on Automation using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.

We're not necessarily looking for an expert level Engineer but more someone that has good hands-on technical skills, ability to learn new technology fast and super keen to develop their infrastructure automation skills.
