We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Business Analyst to work closely with our Head of IT and help shape the firm's technology roadmap, improve business processes, and deliver meaningful change across the organisation.

About the Role
As our IT Business Analyst, you will be the link between business needs and technology solutions. You will support both day-to-day technology initiatives and strategic transformation projects, helping the firm identify opportunities for improvement and deliver practical, business-focused outcomes.
Partnering closely with the Head of IT, you will:
Engage with stakeholders across the firm to understand business needs, challenges and opportunities
Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements
Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder consultations
Map and improve business processes
Develop business cases, recommendations and solution options
Support technology projects from planning through to implementation
Assist with vendor evaluations, procurement and solution selection
Coordinate project activities, communication and reporting
Support testing, user adoption, training and change management activities
Identify opportunities for process automation and technology innovation, including AI and digital workplace initiatives
Contribute to governance, risk management, cyber security awareness and compliance activities
Assist with the maintenance of IT policies, procedures and standards
Support IT governance, reporting and compliance activities
What You'll Be Working On
During your first six months, you will play a key role in:
Validating and refining our technology roadmap
Reviewing current systems and documenting business processes
Conducting stakeholder interviews across all practice and business service teams
Assessing market-leading technology solutions and vendors
Preparing business cases and cost-benefit analyses
Supporting the selection of future Practice Management, Document Management and Financial Management platforms
Identifying automation opportunities that improve efficiency and user experience
Helping establish project governance and reporting frameworks
About You
You are a curious and collaborative professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and delivering tangible business outcomes.
You'll bring:
5+ years' experience in a Business Analyst, IT Coordinator, Project Coordinator or similar role
Strong business analysis and requirements gathering capability
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience supporting technology projects and business improvement initiatives
Strong analytical, organisational and documentation skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across operational and project environments
A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering practical solutions
Experience working with technology vendors, service providers or project teams
Highly Regarded
Experience within a professional services environment, particularly legal, accounting or consulting firms
Exposure to change management methodologies
Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or a related discipline
