IT Business Analyst

Summary

IT Business Analyst responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional/non-functional specifications using UML/BPMN and user stories, supporting UAT, and managing stakeholder expectations and requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Elicit and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing specifications.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, or models like UML/BPMN for developers.
  • Support solution design, testing (including UAT), and implementation by validating requirements against predefined scope.
  • Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle, rigorously evaluating impacts on tender specifications before approval.
  • Manage stakeholders actively to align expectations, specify requirements within the solution platform's capabilities, communicate progress, and prevent deviations from the tender-defined scope, minimizing scope creep.
  • Must have more than 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects, including requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
