IT Business Analyst cum Project Management
Summary
This role involves acting as an IT Business Analyst and Project Manager within the banking sector to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The candidate will manage project lifecycles, perform functional testing, analyze data using SQL, and design UI/UX mock-ups using Figma.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business users and IT teams to understand requirements and prepare functional specifications.
- Translate business requirements into solutions with development teams.
- Prepare functional documents, use cases, test strategies and test cases.
- Plan and perform System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and report testing status.
- Identify test data required for testing and validation.
- Support project planning, schedules and milestones.
- Act as project manager for delegated tasks and coordinate project activities.
- Track and report project risks, issues and status to stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions are properly tested before production deployment.
- Prepare and maintain application user and operating guides.
- Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents.
- Analyze large data volumes and investigate data anomalies or inconsistencies.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and reduce risks.
- Work with stakeholders across different locations.
- Follow applicable regulatory, compliance and internal policies.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of relevant experience as an IT Business Analyst.
- Banking sector domain experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Hands-on experience coordinating between business and IT teams.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
- Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience preparing test documents and performing functional testing.
- Strong risk identification and assessment skills.
- Proficiency in complex SQL database queries.
- Proficiency in flow diagram definition and design.
- Ability to prepare datasets for analysis and validation.
- UI/UX experience.
- Hands-on experience creating mock-ups using Figma.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and JIRA.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 9 years of relevant IT Business Analysis experience.
