FANUC America Corporation: IT Business Analyst for Rochester Hills, MI to develop business reporting applications, quantitative models, datasets, & analytical tools to improve business insights, reporting and process efficiency; collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements & understand business problems; translate requirements into technical specifications; develop, test & deploy applications, models and tools; build dashboards & data-driven reports to facilitate informed business decision by management; provide technical support to end-users; support continuous improvement initiatives. Requires Bachelor’s in Operations Research, Data Analytics, Computer or Electronics Engineering or a closely-related quantitative field & 5 yrs progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience analyzing, validating and visualizing data using Power BI and/or Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and/or Microsoft Access; extracting structured & unstructured data from on-premise and Cloud databases using querying tools, including SQL, PL/SQL, and/or Microsoft Access; creating & managing secure and confidential databases using Python, SQL, SQL Server Integration Services, Oracle Database Management, and/or Microsoft Access; creating & deploying data warehouse models using SQL Server Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory and/or Google Big Query, and/or Amazon Redshift; presenting business reporting results & analytics to senior management teams; collaborating with cross-functional, globally distributed teams to create reporting tools and/or develop applications to support business functions. $121,784.00 to $134,569.00 per year.
