IT Business Analyst
Summary
IT Business Analyst supporting innovation initiatives at PJ Lhuillier: gathers and documents business requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories), scans tech trends to inform roadmaps, and coordinates delivery of technology solutions with internal teams and external vendors. Key focus areas are business process analysis, automation, and low-code/AI solutions.
The position is primarily responsible for supporting innovation initiatives by translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements and coordinating the development and implementation of technology-enabled solutions. The position is also responsible for ensuring that business requirements are properly analyzed, documented, and aligned with organizational objectives while supporting project delivery through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the department head in identifying business problems.
- Conducts trends and technology scanning and prepares quarterly foresight briefs to inform roadmaps and community of practice themes.
- Gathers and documents requirements for shortlisted ideas, defining scope and success metrics.
- Prepares detailed functional and technical documentation (e.g BRD, FRD, user stories).
- Validates the business requirements. Recommends possible solutions to technological design conflicts and for improvement of the existing application.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of four year course in BS in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- At least three (3) years of work-related experience in business analysis, programs management, process improvement and in managing automation projects.
- Exposure to low code/ Al solutions
