IT Business Analyst
Salary: ₱75,000 – ₱85,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst who will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements, and support the delivery of technology solutions. The role involves analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, coordinating with developers and QA teams, and ensuring that solutions meet business objectives.
Generic responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discussions.
Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements for IT and development teams.
Conduct business process analysis and process mapping to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Collaborate with developers, solution architects, QA testers, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Support UAT planning, test case preparation, defect validation, and user acceptance testing.
Facilitate requirement clarification and ensure alignment between business requirements and delivered solutions.
Track requirements, changes, dependencies, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in system implementation, integration, migration, and enhancement projects.
Prepare documentation, reports, process diagrams, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
Experience creating BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and process flow diagrams.
Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and software development processes.
Experience working with data mapping, data analysis, system integration, and APIs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
With banking/financial experience is highly preferred.
